This function module has been developed for the 4.5to winch. The rotating gear will be locked in place by a servo. The winch can then no longer freely rotate above the vehicle. This is necessary when the winch is not being used.
The module may also be used for the older 4to winch. But mind that this is only possible with orders delivered after Jan. 2019. The winch base of the older winch has been redesigned. It is now the same as for the newer 4.5to winch and features besides the mounting points also the fitting rotating gear for this module.
To be clear, the laser-cut aluminum rotating ring does not fit, the black plastic rotating ring is needed instead.
